Accommodation

We are one of the largest accommodation businesses in the area with 140 beds and 70 rooms of hotel-grade.  Our charming guesthouse offers comfortable surroundings for hosting personal occasions.  There are also rooms for non-smokers and the physically challenged. Shared living and self service rooms serve whole families on vacation.

Saunas

Everyone enjoys the swimming-pool department. It is open for lodgers in the morning (no heated sauna) 7 am – 8 am and at night 7 pm – 9 pm (sauna heated). Saunas can also be booked separately.

Take a refreshing swim in the lake after the beach sauna, relax next to the swimming pools by the fireplace sauna; the saunas in the swimming pool department are suited for larger groups. The swimming pool department is rented for private use during day-time and at night from 4 pm to 7 pm or 9 pm to 11 pm. The beach and fireplace saunas can be booked every day.

Conference / Meeting

Raseborg Institute offers well equipped conference and meeting rooms for various needs. In our Auditorium we can seat up to 270 persons, and we have 7 smaller conference rooms for 20-40 persons. 7 group-work rooms for 8 persons, and a modernly equipped computer class for 18 persons. We also have different rooms for sports activities.

Location

Beautiful lakes and extensive forests surround the resort. Nearby you will find the birthplace of Finnish industry, the charming iron works communities: Svartå in Karis, Fiskars and Billnäs in Pohja, and Fagervik in Ingå. The idyllic Ekenäs or the beaches, smooth cliffs and the open seas of Hanko are also quite close by.

Driving Instructions

From HELSINKI drive along road 51 towards Hanko, which ends in road 25 at Karis. Drive along road 25 towards Hanko about 1 km, pass the intersection with the road sign KARIS / FISKARS for about 200 metres, where you will see a road-sign saying ANTBY and RASEBORG 6 km. Turn left and follow the road signs.

From TURKU drive via Salo to Tammisaari/Ekenäs and from there along road 25 towards Helsinki, pass the Shell petrol station in Karis for about 2 km. Turn right at the road sign ANTBY and RASEBORG 6 km, follow the road signs.

By train:
All express trains between Helsinki and Turku including the Pendolinos stop at Karis. From the train station a taxi will take you to RASEBORG Institute, the distance is about 8 km.
